A Reason to Believe

January 19, 2010

Scott Brown and Gov. Chris Christie

Today is a historical day in New Jersey and Republican politics.  On the same day Governor Chris Christie is inaugurated as the Governor of New Jersey – arguably among the bluest states in the nations – according to most polls, Scott Brown is poised to win a special election in Massachusetts (the bluest state in the nation) to fill the US Senate seat of the late Senator Ted Kennedy.

These events prove that with hard work, a clear message and a motivated electorate, even in places like Camden County – the Garden State’s bastion of Democrat Machine politics – Republicans can and will win on all levels of government.

This past November we began the process of turning Camden around as evidenced by Domenick DiCicco now representing part of our county in the New Jersey General  Assembly, and hard-fought local victories by our friends in places like Oaklyn and Berlin.

Check back throughout the day for photos of today’s events.
