DiCicco Ready to Introduce his First Bill

February 1, 2010

Assemblyman Domenick DiCicco

The newest Assembly Republican is hard at work for South Jersey.  Domenick DiCicco has announced he is ready to introduce his first bill when the legislature reconvenes.

It should come as no surprise that Assemblyman DiCicco is introducing a no cost bill that requires municipalities to clearly inform property owners how their property tax was assessed and how to appeal an improper assessment.

Assemblyman DiCicco noted:

“Not only are New Jersey property taxes excessively high, but the process for residents to appeal their assessments is needlessly confusing.  Everyone in government needs to be more clear, transparent and direct in how we communicate with the people we serve. This is a simple and cost-free way to accomplish that at a time when the property values have plummeted and assessments are inaccurately high.”

With this Domenick continues to reassure South Jersey that he is exactly the type of leader we need in government.  Read the full text of Assemblyman DiCicco’s press release by clicking here.
