After meeting with the candidates and learning about their plans to reform Camden County Government, Fourth District Assemblyman Domenick DiCicco (R-Camden/Gloucester) endorsed the Camden County Republican slate of Chris Leon-Zwillinger for Surrogate and George J. Zallie and Scot DeCristofaro for Freeholder.

DiCicco issued the following statement:

“If last November taught us anything, it’s that we can and should challenge the status quo and refuse to accept the notion that a party whose officials have consistently over-taxed our citizens to feed the special interests that put them in office, under-delivered and failed our communities can go unchallenged here in Camden County.”

“Camden deserves better than the machine-backed career politicians representing it. That’s why I am proud to endorse Chris Leon-Zwillinger for Camden County Surrogate and George J. Zallie and Scot DeCristofaro for Freeholder. This team brings independence and real-world know-how, and is driven by a deep love for this community, not their own financial and political ambitions.”

“Join me in November in supporting the Leone-Zwillinger-Zallie-DeCristofaro team, and together we’ll once again bring change and make history in Camden County.”

Leone-Zwillinger, Zallie and DeCristofaro offered the following statement upon receiving the endorsement:

“We couldn’t be happier to have earned the Assemblyman’s endorsement, and we intend to build upon what he started in taking back Camden County and empowering our residents.”

said Republican Freeholder candidate George Zallie.

Chris Leon-Zwillinger made the statement,

“In his short time in office, Domenick has become a prototype for a new kind of leader in New Jersey – one who doesn’t just talk about government reform, lower taxes and higher ethical standards, but one who takes initiative to get the job done.”

“We look forward to standing by his side, fighting for our families and making our county a more affordable, safer and better place to live, work and play.”

Said Scot DeCristofaro.
