Happy Memorial Day!

May 31, 2010

Today we celebrate this day to remember our heroes.  It is important to remember that our freedoms are possible because of those who have fought to keep our nation free and those who have given  their lives in combat.

Memorial Day is one of our few unique American holidays where we thank those who have fought for us.   Today is a day for our country to recognize the accomplishments and sacrifices of the men and women serving in uniform, who have preserved our freedom and liberties while bringing security to the world.

We remember the fallen heroes of our nation from the times of George Washington to the present that have defended our nation and made our freedoms a reality.  We must continue to live up to President Lincolns promise to not just care for the fallen, but for their family and loved ones.

On this day as we gather with friends and family to light the barbeques and head to the shore let us not forget that the men and women in uniform that preserve our freedom.  Take a moment and thank a veteran.  Below is touching video of service men and women returning home.

Happy Memorial Day and God Bless America.

    Freedom is not free! We should remember, each and every day, that men and women in the armed services have given the ultimate sacrifice to protect and preserve our American freedoms. We should never take that for granted. God Bless our military and their families. God Bless America!!

    To Freeholder Director and Senate President Sweeney, who spoke at an event this morning: YOU ARE A HORSES REAR END! You are a disgrace to Democracy & our soliders did not die so you could hold two jobs. You and your Norcross goons are TYRANTS.

    You dishonor our soliders everytime you get up and speak as a dual office holder;

    You dishonor Democracy everytime you run for office by bull arming the voting public;

    You dishonor South Jersey, in fact this entire state, when you shift campaign funds to various Norcross goons.

    You sir, and the rest of your buddies, will be most dishonorably discharged this November! You have no creditability!
