Republican Congressional Candidate Dale Glading plans to “honor” Rep. Rob Andrews  on Thursday, September 16th by giving away free pork sandwiches outside Andrews’ Haddon Heights office.

“Rob Andrews has spent the past 20 years wasting taxpayers’ money on pork barrel projects like a $6 million bicycle path through Camden and recently, a $500,000 grant to teach Camden City teachers about U.S. history so they can turn around and teach their own students,”

Glading said.

“I can’t think of a better way to point our Rob’s reckless spending than to offer free pork sandwiches to his long-suffering constituents.”

“Included in the failed $800 billion stimulus bill that Rob voted for was $1.9 million for international ant research; $457,000 to study the circulation of Neptune’s atmosphere; and $90,000 to replace a new sidewalk in Boynton, Oklahoma that leads to a ditch,”

Glading added.

“This kind of senseless and out-of-control government spending has to stop.”

“Rob Andrews is the poster child for pork barrel spending and a perfect example of why we need term limits in Congress,”

concluded Glading.

“After 20 years as a Washington insider, Rob has completely lost touch with the people of South Jersey that he is supposed to be representing.  Maybe that’s why he votes in lockstep with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi 99% of the time.”

The free pork sandwiches are being provided by Fat Jack’s barbecue restaurant of Audubon and paid for by the Glading for Congress campaign. They will be served outside of Congressman Andrews’ office at 515 Grove Street in Haddon Heights from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Over the past 10 years, I have gone to the Andrews compound In Heights at least 12 times about 3 different problems. The one big thing I went to them with was my Disability. Not on one issue have they helped!, being disabled, and on a fixed income which doesn’t go far, I had to hire attornies to get it through. If his people would have gotten involved, I would have saved money I didn’t have. I have also gone to him about the property taxes, well I might just stand in a corner, hold my breath ,and turn BLUE!
