Thank You to Everyone Who Worked So Hard!

November 3, 2010

John Runyan

Congratulations to Jon Runyan!  Way to go!  Early retirement for  John Adler is a benefit to everyone in South Jersey and the nation.

Thank you to everyone in Camden County who worked so hard for our entire ticket.  While we did not win the freeholder or surrogate race  we ran one of the best campaigns the Camden County Republicans have seen in years.  Special thank you to George Scot and Chris who worked so hard to bring our message to the voters in Camden County.  They have caused our party to grow and strengthen though their hard work and dedication.

Dale Glading did an admirable job against an entrenched incumbent who had endless financial resources.  Dale opened a headquarters in Haddon Heights staffed it with dedicated volunteers and had some of the most creative political rallies.  Who will ever forget eating a pork sandwich in Rob Andrew’s parking lot?

Election Day 2010 had many bright victories for Republicans.  Republicans won locally in Waterford, Berlin, Haddon Heights, Voorhees, and Laurel Springs.  We will highlight local republican victories in the coming days.  Check back soon.

The campaigns by Jon Runyan and Dale Glading were very different and yet similar because of ONE thing…the local people of the Tea Party and 912 groups came out with the full passion of their activism and zeal for “taking back America” and re-establishing the Constitution in both races! This was the first time these local groups could participate fully in a general election. It was a learning experience. It was an exhilarating experience. And, it showed they can bring to bear a very effective focus on the issues for the candidates they support and the voters they influence. Now, they realize they CAN have an effect on the candidate policies and voter support of those that want to govern. They are NOT going away, they are going to grow! So what’s next? Tea Party and 912 focus will turn to the 2011 NJ State Elections! And oh one other thing, Jon Runyan congratulations, we wish you well in Washington and we look forward to seeing you at your town meetings!
